Offering Affordable Community-style Acupuncture previously at Six Degrees, now from our Inspired Warrior Studio Launchpad!
I’m so proud to offer my acupuncture services at my home away from home, offering group acupuncture options in addition to my regular private sessions.

Six Degrees is a true wholistic health centre, offering Body work, Psychotherapy, Yoga, Martial Arts, Meditation and many ongoing courses and workshops, and is an incredible and diverse community – a welcoming safe space for people from all walks of life, all paths of healing. Built on the foundation that healthcare should be both effective and affordable it maintains this philosophy by being volunteer driven and accepts pay-as-much-as-you-can sliding scale payments. While the idea of community (group) acupuncture may at first make you feel apprehensive, this style was how acupuncture was traditionally practiced for thousands of years, and there is certainly something deeply profound in sharing the experience with other napping strangers! Sessions are 1 hour long with careful attention paid to your privacy. (Private space is often available for very sensitive sessions.) We connect for a 30 minute initial intake (15 minute follow-ups), and then you doze off in the comfy-est of reclining chairs (seriously, just wait till you try them…) These sessions are perfect for those curious to try acupuncture or for those who need basic regular treatments (1-2x/week) but can’t afford the private sessions.
What are the benefits of the Community style?
- A strong therapeutic effect – All living things generate magnetic and electrical energy. Acupuncture increases the flow of these energies, which aid in healing. All living things exchange energy. When people receive acupuncture together electrical and magnetic energy is collectively magnified and its therapeutic value increases.
- Affordability & accessibility – A sliding fee scale allows more people to access acupuncture and to use it as a preventative, long-term health practice.
- Less isolation – Being treated in a group is a powerful social experience. To be in the quiet presence of others during a treatment reminds us that we are not alone. Reducing isolation can strengthen a person’s resistant to disease.
